Santa Clara County Map

Santa Clara County is located in the Santa Clara Valley at the south end of San Francisco Bay.  It includes the following towns and cities:

1. San Jose
2. Los Altos
3. Mountain View
4. Palo Alto
5. Santa Clara

San Jose is the county seat for Santa Clara County.  Stanford University is located in the county.

Santa Clara County, California

The area between San Jose and Palo Alto (to the north) is often referred to as "Silicon Valley" due to the large number of high tech companies that are resident here.  They include Adobe, Cisco Systems, IBM and Google.
